ESOL International (A1 – B1) course covering levels A1 to B1 are designed to help non-native English speakers develop the language skills necessary for everyday communication and basic interactions in English-speaking environments. This course provides a comprehensive approach to learning English, focusing on the four key language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Course Contents

The mandatory units of ESOL International (A1 – B1) course are designed to develop the fundamental language skills of reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Here are some common units:

  2. Vocabulary and Grammar: This unit focuses on building a foundation of essential vocabulary and basic grammatical structures in English.

  4. Writing Skills: This unit covers basic writing skills, including forming sentences, writing personal information, filling out forms, and composing short messages or emails.

Who is it for?

These qualifications are suitable for learners who are preparing for entry to higher education or professional employment in the UK or internationally. The qualifications are available at A1 (Entry Level 1), A2 (Entry Level 2) and B1 (Entry Level 3)

Certification

After attending the course and successfully passing a multiple-choice questions examination, candidates receive certificate from an awarding body within England and Wales who are currently recognized by Ofqual and Department for Education and Skills.

It has been designed to be completed by 1 Week depending on past experience and personal capabilities / competence

Examination

The following two exams are offered at each level from A1 to C2, to cover all four language skills:

  • LanguageCert International ESOL Written Exam (Listening, Reading, Writing)
  • LanguageCert International ESOL Spoken Exam (Speaking)

Written and Spoken Exams can be taken independently of each other at the candidates’ convenience. They are separate tests, so students can choose to focus their preparation on one exam before taking the other.
